ooooohhhhh simply awesome
towering 150m above the city centre, and having so many amenities, this sky garden is pretty much perfect. the only other sky garden that can compete is skyville@dawson.
note: admission fee for the 50th floor is $6, and the 26th floor is only accessible to residents. its also only open till 9.45pm. pics for the 50th floor are shown first, pics for the 26th floor are also shown but with a label on the top left corner of each image. the review below only constitutes the 50th floor sky garden, because its public accessible
view: you can see everything. being one of the tallest buildings in the vicinity, expect breathtaking views of the city, sentosa, starry nights (if its not cloudy), everything. i've ran out of words to explain this magnificent view
vibes: stunning, extraordinary, stupendous. you're 150m above ground, warm awesome lighting, no trees blocking you and the railing edges, very windy, (add synonyms of awesome to describe this place)
amenities: a sky garden isn't good without amenites. pinnacle@duxton is packed full of them. supper tables. wooden benches. 'ergonomically designed' seats so you can lie on them to watch the stars. beach chairs. a fake swimming pool and a 'beach' area. little wooden huts with seats in them. good sized gathering areas. a small rock climbing sturcture thingy. a helicopter landing pad thingy (because it looks like one)
nearby: ~7 mins walk from tanjong pagar or outram park mrt, tanjong pagar shophouses, tanjong pagar plaza, maxwell food centre, singapore general hospital
rating: 10/10 simply stunning
added review: but is it worth the $6 admission? well, up for you to decide. it's definitely worth one visit imo. but otherwise, there are indeed other very good sky gardens that are free to visit, so do look around this website to explore some of them :)
